Josh Groban The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Concert reviews
U2...always amazing!
- What else can I say. Not the issues, although this may have been my favorite show, I had prepaid for parking in the Ford lot.
- The acoustics were amazing, allowing them to play literally around the entire venue, and I like that NYCB Live at Nassau is small and intimate which allows you to really see the band and not rely on a screen.
- Loved every second of the show. Having seen Josh Groban live a few times, the stage set up was amazing.
- When I got there the line just to get off the exit was ridiculous and the lot was full. This forced me to be redirected to the NCC parking lot across the street, which thankfully accepted my prepaid parking ticket, and to take a shuttle bus to the venue.
- When I arrived at the venue the show was in progress and there was still a slow moving giant line to get in. I was hungry and wanted to purchase food. I passed several concession stands with ridiculous lines and decided against it.
- When I got to the gate for my section there were two staircases I could take, I wasn't sure which was the correct one. Even when I finally got to the correct seats, which were not where I had originally gone, there was literally no staff to help direct anyone and lots of confused people searching in the dark.
- While the improvements make the venue look nice and refreshed, I have been to two shows at this venue where the shows were great but navigating the venue was literally a sh*t show.
